New Babies and Such

I want to start by saying a quick congratulations to Huldah and David on the birth of their first daughter, Matilda. She weighed in at 9lbs and took her sweet time making her entrance. Many of you will remember Huldah, a good friend of mine from B-T.

Ok, now for the less important updates of our happenings. Generally speaking, E seems to be feeling much better since he got his tubes. He is now sleeping unswaddled and ALL night long, got his second tooth last week(ish), and still isn't crawling but has started getting up on all fours and can scoot backwards (completely unintentionally). Cole is continuing to amaze us with his memory. The other day we were driving down the street where the fire station was (that we have visited ONCE), and before we could even see the building he asked "Where's the fire station?" Needless to say, Chris and I just looked at each other in complete shock!

Now for the cute pictures...(and stories of course)
Cole was brushing E's hair.

Baby Kali getting ready for swimming lessons.
We hosted another Saturday Morning Coffee last weekend and they stopped for a while, but I couldn't resist a few cute pictures of her in her tankini :) In other news, Jason & Ashlee (Kali's parents) are expecting their second baby later this year...yay!!!

Cole, Zach, & Cady going for a ride.
Cady and Zach belong to Jess and Justin, new friends that we seem to be seeing alot of lately :)

This was at John and Kristy's graduation party. They are both finishing school this year and then will be moving to Grand Island after the wedding in July as Kristy got a job as a school counselor there.

At the park next to the graduation party :)

Laura & Bill (and their dog Conrad) were also in town last weekend and we managed to get a short visit in. I would have pictures of the dog but he is REALLY shy and didn't want anything to do with us :)

The next generation...

And you thought they would start using a computer in kindergarten...
Cole already knows how to work the touchpad :)

Happy Mothers Day!!

This was right before surgery last Thursday. Everything went as expected and it seems to be helping tremendously. He started sleeping through the night that first night and is turning towards more noises now. Yay for modern medicine, now lets just hope they last as long as we need them to!!

For mothers day this year, the boys painted flower pots for the moms in our family. I was at work and Chris said that next year this will have to be a two parent activity :)

Then on Sat, Chris took the boys (I was at work again) to the zoo with his family. They had a great time despite the cold temperatures, and even got to ride the train!!

Mothers day was nice as I got to stay home from work. We headed over to Chris' parents house for dinner and just spent the day relaxing. I can, however, say that I have pictures from this mothers day (as I have NONE from my first mothers day). This is the picture of me from this mothers day :)

Field Trip to the Firehouse

We were invited by a co-worker of mine to go and visit her husband, a fireman, at work tonight. Cole was soo excited (after he came out of his shell) and had a ball playing on the fire engine and flirting with her daughters :) When we first got there one of the trucks was out on a call, but they did get back and we had a great time playing and talking with the fireman!! Thanks Rochelle and Bryan!!!!

And E goes in first thing tomorrow morning to get his tubes put in his ears...updates on that to come!!
