Crocked River Run...and other fun updates

Just a couple things we have missed in the past two weeks. We had Chris' 10 year high school class reunion. It was great to see everyone and catch up with people we don't see very often.
These were all the East graduates at the reunion.

They had a picnic for all the families and had bounce houses to play in :)
Then Cole went to "Buggy Camp" with Grandma Bette. They spent two days out in the woods exploring and doing fun bug crafts.

They made dragonfly snacks

Then, this last weekend Chris and I headed out on our annual trip canoeing down the Niobrara. It was a great trip and lots of fun was had by all. We had no major injuries and no one turned into a lobster after spending all day in the sun!! I am going to share a few pictures, but we have a motto that "what happens on the river stays on the river" :)

It was a long day, so naps were in order mid-afternoon :)

Apparently it's summertime...

And thus, I am having a hard time keeping up with the blog (and everything else computer related).

So I left off with our trip to the Cabin. We went back to the ENT and Easton does not need tubes for now. We will just continue to watch and hope he has grown enough by this fall to not need them replaced. He is now teething again so who knows if he has an ear infection or just a new tooth at any given moment. Cole is continuing to work on his letters and counting. He is sharp as a whip and has been pushing the limits lately so hopefully that will be short lived.

In the past few weeks we have been busy out and about...
Swimming in the front yard

We went to the zoo with Nana B. This was us waiting for the train.

What a workout!!

My little bookworm.

Umm, they were not real happy with us :( This is Emmalynn, Annabelle's little sister.

Cole and Annabelle (at the zoo). Can you believe they are only 10 days apart??

Thinking the boys are starting to look more alike!!

We went bowling and E was having NOTHING to do with any of it.

At the park with G-Pa Pat for her company picnic (we went swimming and had a picnic as well)

The first sleep out in the family room (they were watching a movie before bed).

The lawn mower cupcakes I made for fathers day (they were even gluten free!)

Um, so we started a garden with just TWO pumpkin plants, and they have pretty much strangled everything else and are taking over the grass now. Good thing we have plenty to spare!!
This is Cole's teacher at school, Caitlin. They had a program for the Fourth.

Easton and his new water bottle holder :)

Cole's class at school singing patriotic songs.

Getting his new "yellow belt" from the Kung Fu teacher at school.
OK, that pretty much brings us up to last weekend. I know I have left a bunch out, but need to get some sleep for another busy weekend ahead :)
