So we decided to venture up to the cabin for Memorial Day (since we all had a long weekend), and it was much fun. The biggest bummer was that G-Ma ended up dislocating her "new" hip and ended up back in the hospital. But the boys made her a fun sign and enjoyed going to visit :)
We headed up on Sat morning (since I was lucky enough to see Wicked on Fri night!!). Cole was especially excited to go fishing while we were up there so we were sure to pack his pole and the tackle boxes!! Though, they were not lucky enough to catch any fish :( We pretty much just hung out all weekend (in true cabin style), though we did get to spend Mon night in the basement due to a lovely storm that rolled through. It was the first time (this season) we had to wake the boys up and take them to the basement. Much fun was had by all, and we certainly enjoyed seeing all the family!!

This was how the boys spent their weekend
Our last day there, we went into town to check out the John Deere Tractor store, I think the boys were sure they had died and gone to heaven!!!!

Just to give you a little perspective on how big these things really are!!

This was as good as we got for a picture with both of them :)
It was about 90 outside and the winds were unbelievable!! I was amazed they were smiling at all.
We came back for a quiet week at home, and then had a lovely outing to the zoo this morning with Great G-Ma Baker and G-Pa Poutre.
Oh, and we see the ENT again on Tuesday to decide the fate of Easton's tubes. Not sure if I am hoping for surgery, or that everything looks good and we can wait until fall to re-evaluate :\
the lake looks stunning! Glad you had such a great weekend with your boys:)
