Apparently it's been a busy few weeks around here seeing as I haven't been very good about posting anything.
We have finally recovered from Cole's battle with who knows what kinds of bugs. He was on eye, ear, and oral antibiotics for about a week after the fourth. We are now down to just finishing off the oral round and hopefully can return to no meds again shortly.

Chris was out of town for work for a few days and Cole and I headed to Lincoln for a night at the park. We stopped off for some KFC and took G-Ma Pat and Pam to one of the coolest parks we have ever been to. Of course, no park visit would be complete without some ice cream...yes, Cole was eating it off the stick with a spoon :)

This past week, they had a carnival at school so Cole got his face painted. That evening, G-Ma Pat came up to play while Chris and I went out to celebrate our 4 year wedding anniversary.

Finally, we spent the day today out and about. We started out at the Gretna Days parade (Cole's first parade) where we saw all sorts of firetrucks, balloons, and the biggest tractor we have ever seen!!
Then, we finished off the evening at the Omaha Royals baseball game where our friend Jason Olson and his dad/brothers sang the national anthem. All in all, it's been a busy few weeks!!
